The Fifth Annual Forum on Endocrine Disruptors organised by the European Commission’s DG Environment, will take place from 19-20 October 2023. This year it will be a hybrid event, held at the Commission’s Charlemagne Building in Brussels. Due to limited room capacity, online attendees will be able to interact during the event, it will be in English, with interpretation in German, Spanish, French and Italian.
The Annual Forum brings together scientists, policymakers with public and private stakeholders with expertise on endocrine disruptors to exchange information and best practices, identify challenges and build synergies, in order to inform the Commission’s reflections.
The draft programme includes presentations on the latest state of the art science and human health protection including progress updates from the EURION Cluster and HBM4EU, the Commission’s work on the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability and a focus on endocrine disruptors, PFAS. Representing the EURION Cluster, Prof. Juliette Legler (Utrecht University, GOLIATH coordinator) will speak about Tackling metabolic disruption in EURION as part of session 3 on 19 October at 14:30 CET.
