This is a guided modular Decision Support System (DSS) developed to identify and predict the thyroid hormone disrupting potential of chemical compounds.
The DSS is based on experimental data and data derived from qualitative and quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSARs), consensus modelling and Bayesian statistics to account for conflicting input information as well as varying levels of information and confidence.
It is intended to be used by researchers, authorities and policymakers to assist them in finding out if the compound under investigation will impact any currently known thyroid hormone disruption adverse outcome pathway (AOP) networks.
