High-Level Conference: EU chemicals policy 2030: building on the past, moving to the future
27 Jun 2019 - 28 Jun 2019 | Brussels, Belgium
The European Commission together with the Ministry of Environment and Food of Denmark are organising a high-level conference: "EU chemicals policy 2030: building on the past, moving to the future", in Brussels on 27 and 28 June. On the one hand, the conference aims to engage the chemicals stakeholder community in discussing the lessons learnt from the past decades of EU chemicals policy (building on recent evaluations such as the REACH Review, the Fitness Check on all chemicals legislation except REACH and the interface between chemicals, products and waste). On the other hand, the conference aims to gather active input from the participants on where the EU chemicals policy should move to after 2020, including its future vision, objectives and actions. You are warmly invited to be part of those important discussions and to share this invitation with interested stakeholders. Please note that registrations for the conference are mandatory and will open on 2 May 2019 through the website www.euchemicalspolicy2030.teamwork.fr. Places are limited and participants will be admitted on a first-come-first-served basis and according to a balanced representation of stakeholders.
