EC Fitness Check on the EU legislation on Endocrine Disruptors

22 Jan 2020

The European Commission (EC) is carrying out a Fitness Check on the EU legislation on Endocrine Disruptors. Endocrine disruptors (EDs) are chemicals that may interfere with the hormonal system and as a result of that, produce harmful effects in both humans and wildlife. A wide range of chemicals, both natural and man-made, may cause endocrine disruption.

In the context of this initiative, the EC would like to invite you/your organisation to contribute to a targeted stakeholders survey. The survey is publicly accessible from the EU Survey tool and remains open for eight weeks (closing date is 31/01/2020). It is available in English and respondents are required to answer in English.

This survey is addressed to stakeholder organisations such as businesses, public authorities, academia, research organisations, civil society organisations and to experts working in such areas responding in their professional capacity. If you (or any member of your organisation) would like to comment in your personal capacity from the perspective of a citizen, please respond to the public survey. It will be available in 23 EU languages.
